America250 Midland Raffle
1. Sponsor
The America250 Midland Raffle ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by the City of Midland and the Midland Chamber of Commerce, 300 N Loraine St, Midland, TX 79701 (collectively, the "Sponsor").
2. No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings), and persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Void in New York, Florida, Rhode Island, and where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Entry Period
The Sweepstakes operates on a monthly cycle. Each monthly drawing period ("Drawing Period") begins at 12:00 AM Central Time on the first day of the calendar month and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on the last day of that same calendar month. The overall Sweepstakes begins on May 1, 2026 and continues through July 31, 2026, unless extended or terminated by the Sponsor. Entries received outside an active Drawing Period will not be eligible for that month's drawing.
5. How to Enter
Method 1: Trivia Completion (Online)
Visit america250midland.com/explore/trivia, create a free account or log in, and complete the current month's America250 Trivia quiz. Upon completion, you will be presented with the option to enter the Sweepstakes. One (1) entry per person per month.
Method 2: Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)
To enter without completing the trivia, visit the free entry form at america250midland.com/sweepstakes/alternative/enter and provide your first name, last name, and email address. Phone number is optional. One (1) entry per person per month. All entries, regardless of method, have equal chances of winning.
6. Entry Limit
Limit one (1) entry per person per month regardless of entry method. A new entry may be submitted each calendar month. Multiple entries from the same person or email address within the same month will be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void.
7. Prize(s)
Prizes for each monthly Drawing Period will be announced by the Sponsor prior to or during the applicable Drawing Period. Prize details, including descriptions and approximate retail values (ARV), will be posted on this page and/or communicated through official Sponsor channels. The Sponsor reserves the right to offer different prizes each month or to conduct a Drawing Period with no prize.
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
8. Winner Selection
Within ten (10) business days following the end of each Drawing Period, one (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during that Drawing Period. Each monthly drawing is independent — entries from one month do not carry over to subsequent months. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Drawing Period.
9. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified via email at the address provided during entry. The winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification with their full name and mailing address to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within 48 hours, fails to comply with these Official Rules, or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
10. Tax Responsibility
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. If the prize value is $2,000 or greater, the Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the winner and the winner may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 prior to receiving the prize.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected during the Sweepstakes will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, including winner notification and prize fulfillment. The Sponsor will not sell, share, or distribute entrant information to third parties for marketing purposes.
12. General Conditions
By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Official Rules.
13. Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the City of Midland, the Midland Chamber of Commerce, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
14. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Midland County, Texas.
15. Winners List
For the name of the winner(s) of any monthly drawing, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: America250 Midland Sweepstakes — Winners List, 300 N Loraine St, Midland, TX 79701. Please specify which month's winner(s) you are requesting. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the applicable drawing date.
